Amanda Stead

I've been practicing yoga since 1983.  After meeting Guruji Patthabhi Jois in New Zealand in 1999, I travelled to Mysore to study with him at the end of that year.  I've been teaching Ashtanga vinyasa since 2002 and aim to provide a safe nurturing space where students can explore their potential.  I encourage them to face their challenges with attention to the wisdom of the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali, to seek and find enthusiasm, courage, self love and acceptance. 

Douglas Brook (Vishal)

Spiritual name Vishal – I started practicing yoga aged 23 with Eugenie Knox. I was stunned to discover that through yoga I felt fully awake, alive and connected to the truth of life. My daily practice led to an apprenticeship with Eugenie and to teaching at the studio in the Iyengar method. I have been to Ashrams in India 9 times and I am a devotee of spiritual teacher and humanitarian Sri Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi or Amma...
