Description

Have you been feeling a little unmotivated to maintain a consistent Yoga practice? Are you struggling to carve time and space in your home to restore and nourish your body and mind? This is your opportunity to put yourself first and treat yourself to a full weekend of Yoga detox and relaxation.

On Friday evening, we will begin with our Opening Circle and chocolate time, followed by an optional Half Primary Ashtanga Vinyasa Led class with Kat and a 45-minute Yoga Nidra session led by Ilaria.

The secret to a good morning Yoga practice lies in whatever happened the night before, so we will suggest a night-time routine to prepare for Saturday and Sunday morning's Asana, Pranayama and Meditation classes.

Both days, there will be 3 Asana levels offered, and you will be able to choose between the three depending on your own individual needs and preferences. We will start with the 6.15am Full Primary Series Led practice, suitable for intermediate and advanced long-term practitioners, followed by the 09.30am Beginners Ashtanga Led class, suitable for intermediate students who are new to the Ashtanga system and beginner students with an active lifestyle, and finally the late-morning Gentle or Chair Yoga sessions, suitable for students who are recovering from injuries, pre-natal and post-natal practitioners and all beginner students who are craving a slower-paced practice.

Over the course of the weekend, we will learn about the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa opening and closing mantras, as well as discover the hidden treasure of our pelvic floors through anatomy, physiology, body awareness and Yoga practice.

Our evening practices will be focused on stretching and releasing muscles and connective tissue, restoring the body and relaxing the mind.

By the end of the retreat, we hope you will feel completely refreshed and rejuvenated, and ready to tackle whatever the next few months bring our way.
