MEET GREG & TRACY

Owners of Ashtanga Yoga Center Melbourne

In the  early 1990s we returned home from studying with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore South India. We then began teaching the first daily Ashtanga vinyasa classes in Melbourne.

After a number of years moving between some great spaces we finally knuckled down to restoring the 450sq metres of our Argyle St studio.

A lot of labour and love went into the creation of a truly unique home for our students

Blessed with highly trained teachers, the Ashtanga Yoga Centre of Melbourne holds decades of experience that is available to our students.

We frequently hold specialist workshops and immersions with globally renowned teachers as supplementary knowledge for our students and community.

A communal kitchen and lounge infused with the aroma of home brewed Chai tea made daily, have become a fond memory from yogis around the globe and a place to share stories and experiences.

The Ashtanga Yoga Centre of Melbourne's warmth was born out of the bonds of close friendships and dedication to  this traditional yoga practise. We look forward to meeting you on the mat.

"Do your practice, all is coming."

- Sri K. Pattabhi Jois
