"Join us in the new Community Centre to experience the far reaching benefits of regular yoga practice. Classes are based on the classic Ashtanga Vinyassa Yoga system, which synchronises yoga postures in a movement and breathing sequence. This combination increases core strength, flexibility & lung capacity while steadying the mind and releasing accumulated stress.

Classes will include preparations, conscious breathing, a balance of comfortable, challenging and restorative postures, and deep relaxation. Students at all levels will be catered for & beginners to yoga are most welcome, just speak with us first.  Hope to see you there." Greg & Tracy

Class Details

Sessions are run from the new St Andrews Community Centre 35 Caledonia St during school terms as follows:

An early morning led pactice based on the primary series of Ashtanga Yoga . Students are guided with verbal instruction and visual demonstration of postures and breathing . This is a fantasic way to start your day and a term booking is essential please unless attending by prior arrangement with us.

THURSDAY 9.30 – 11 AM
An extended led practice allowing time to explore anatomical integrity , add a wider range of postures , and cover extra practice elements such as meditation and deep relaxation.

Tracy Cooper is a co-founder of Ashtanga Yoga Centre of Melbourne and have been teaching there for 23 years , and at St Andrews for the past 8 years.
