Astanga Yoga Workshop with - Graeme Northfeild
Weekend Intensive July 25 and 26
A great workshop for every level of practitioner.
Saturday 25th: 12.30 - 2.30 and 3.30 - 5.30pm
Sunday 26th: 8.00 - 10.00 and 12.30 - 2.30pm
The first class of each day is Led Primary Series. Afternoon classes will focus on The Shoulders. Graeme will present an easy-to-follow guide to the anatomical features of the shoulder girdle. In order to maintain healthy joint alignment and function, it is important to understand how to identify and strengthen the major muscles of movement and the stabilising muscles. Application of these key points leads to a steady, safe progression by avoiding unnecessary strain and injury.
Graeme has been practicing Astanga consistently for 27 years and continues with passion and enthusiasm. He maintains an insightful and investigative approach to practice and teaching and is always excited to share his depth of experience with others. Graeme is particularly interested in Astanga as a healing modality. During the past several years, he has been researching the latest information on fitness and health from the western science perspective and integrating this knowledge into the Astanga system.
