Created to provide an opportunity to practice in tranquil, natural settings free from the distractions and responsibilities of our working lives. There will be time and space to experience a broad and diverse perspective on the ashtanga yoga practice, to relax and to have fun! All levels most welcome including beginners to Ashtanga. Early bookings are recommended to secure your preferred accommodation and take advantage of cheaper flights.

These retreats are approximately halfway between Cairns & Townsville North Queensland. Separated by a leisurely 20 min Ferry Journey both venues provide a distinctly unique holiday experiences in one of the most pristine environments in the world. Dunk Island has all the facilities, activities and style you would imagine at a Tropical beachfront resort - thoroughly catering for the needs of singles & couples and families alike. (n.B Kids stay and eat for free!) Sanctuary's treehouse atmosphere overlooking lush jungle and the coral sea evokes a more intimate and secluded experience (not an ideal venue for families).

These retreats can be undertaken together or separately.

Schedule for both Retreats
Sunday 5 p.m. – Meet with teachers and fellow students
Classes Monday – Friday Morning 7.00 – 9.30 approx & Monday – Thursday Afternoon 4 – 5.30 approx
Classes will include ggroup instructed and individually guided practice (Mysore style) as well as supportive techniques (Pranayama, guided relaxation, etc) Students at all levels welcome.

Accomodation Rates: Retreat attendees receive 50% off the advertised standard rates for Dunk Island and Sanctuary rates are excellent already.

Bookings: To secure your yoga place simply email or phone us with your name and mobile contact and we will go through the payment options with you. Full payment for the yoga component is requested within 7 days of your booking.
