greg & tracy cooper . . .

began practising Ashtanga Yoga in 1992 with Louisa Sear in Byron Bay, Australia. They have travelled to Mysore, south India to study with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (Guruji). They also have regular guidance from Graeme and Leonie Northfield and Dena Kingsberg. They are dedicated to daily practice, and hope to help to guide their students to a deeper knowledge of self, and the complete unfolding of their beings.


amanda stead . . .

began practising Iyengar yoga in 1985, and completed teacher training in 1992. She has been practising Ashtanga Yoga since early 1999, late that year she travelled to India to study for an extended period with Guruji (Pattabhi Jois). She regularly attends workshops with senior teachers and is dedicated to her daily practice. She has found every aspect of her life enhanced by yoga and is keen to share her enthusiasm with others. Amanda is also available for private tuition.


douglas (vishal) brook . . .

is a yoga devotee, he has been practising since 1994 and is a disciple of Amma. He has travelled to India many times to stay in her ashram. He seeks the divine in everyday life and draws energy and light from his practice. He teaches a range of styles of yoga at locations around Melbourne including Chunky Move Dance Company & gyms, but his main practice is in Ashtanga.


kristen charleston . . .

was first introduced to Integral and Gita yoga in 1999, then in 2000 started practising Iyengar yoga. In 2002 Kristen began practising Ashtanga Yoga, and completed teacher training at Yoga Arts. Kristen is also trained to teach childrens' and teens' yoga. In 2004, she undertook an apprenticeship with Greg and Tracy. She has a passion for yoga and regularly attends workshops with senior teachers. Kristen is also an occupational therapist.


bernadette lane . . .

has practised ashtanga yoga since 2001. She commenced an apprenticeship with Greg and Tracy in 2003 and continues her yoga journey practising with other ashtanga yoga teachers such as Graeme and Leonie Northfield and Dena Kingsberg. She has also studied with Guruji, in Mysore on two occasions. Bernie enjoys a regular practice and is inspired to teach and share her yoga experience with other students. She is also a dedicated social worker.


gemma bender . . .

has been practising yoga since 1995. She practised Iyengar yoga until she found Greg and Tracy and Ashtanga in 2000. She completed her apprenticeship with them in 2001. In 2004 she travelled to Mysore to practise with Guruji and Sharath. She completed the CAE/AIYT Yoga Teacher Training in 2005. She has recently returned to teaching after having her baby son at the end of 2006.

 

leah kazuko casey. . .

has been studying & practising yoga for more than 10 years, and has practised in the Iyengar, Japanese Ki and Ashtanga styles of yoga. She has completed her teacher training with Sri Jani Baker at the College of Classical Yoga, and is also a member of the YTAA. Another important part of her practice is Kalarichikilsa, healing treatments taught to her by her guru Balachandran Nair of the Dharmikam Ashram, Kerala.
